Why is the shop page often empty?

I do pottery part time, and each piece takes several weeks from start to finish, so I only have work to sell every month or two. When I have pieces available, I’ll do a “shop update”, make my Shop page visible, and they can sell quickly. Please sign up for my email list below, so you’ll have a chance to see what’s for sale before they’re gone.

I do not do custom orders.

when can i expect my order?

Please allow 5-7 days for me to get your package in the mail to you. I pack as carefully as possible, to ensure your pottery arrives safe and sound to you! This takes a bit of time… I ship USPS so it can take a week to 10 days to arrive from Hawaii to your home once shipped.

I use only recycled and recyclable materials to ship, so any plastic in the packaging has been reused. I do my best to keep these items out of our landfill here on Maui!

how does shipping work? Local (maui) pickup?

I do my best to estimate shipping costs, and will use the least expensive and safest way to get these beauties to you. If it ends up being less expensive, I’ll refund you the difference. I’ll also try to combine items, but that’s not always the safest way to ship. Because I live in Hawaii, the shipping is expensive to the mainland, and I currently do not ship internationally.

If you are on Maui, contact me to pick up your item after you’ve made your purchase online. I’ll happily refund the shipping costs!

how to best take care of your ware?

All my pieces are dishwasher, microwave and food safe, unless noted. They may last longer if you hand wash them, but I choose to put mine in the dishwasher…Of course they are fragile and need to be treated with care - they will chip or break if dropped!

what happens if a piece arrives damaged/broken?

That would be so sad!🙁 Please take photos of the outside of the box, packing, and the piece itself. All my shipping is insured, so I’ll process a refund, but need to have the photos to do so.

Can i return a piece?

I do not accept returns, so please carefully check the measurements and look at all the photos. I do my best to ensure that the colors and shape of each piece are photographed as accurately as possible. There may be variations in color and each piece is handmade and unique!
